Death Valley to Mt. Langley

Expedition Overview

Join us for an epic 100 mile hike from the lowest to one of the highest point in the lower 48 states (Death Valley to Mt. Langley). You'll start in the hottest place in the country, wander through the desert, hike into Sequoia National Park and up to the 14,026 foot peak of Mt. Langley. Through the expedition, we plan to raise $14,000 to provide educational support for 100 orphaned or abandoned children in the orphanages in Burma affiliated with Asia Heartbeat.

Expedition Details

Dates: July 25-August 2

Participants: 5 minimum -10 maximum

Challenge Level: Difficult, but most physically fit and determined people can do it

Inclusions: Shuttle from LAS airport, general transportation, leaders, accommodations, food, community gear, tour and camp coordination, Venture T-shirt

Exclusions: Personal gear (bivy sack, lightweight pack, good shoes with thick soles), spending money, airfare

Lodging: Camping and hotel in Las Vegas

Trip Cost: $965, payment deadlines are as follows:

  1. June 15: $300 deposit due
  2. July 20: $665 due

Additional Donation toward Venture Projects: $500 (not included in the Trip Cost, but required to participate) to provide educational support for orphaned or abandoned children in the orphanages in Burma affiliated with Asia Heartbeat. Due by July 20.
