Present: Hope Tour

   Present: Hope Tour

Overview

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

We are partnering with Catalyst and Convoy of Hope to raise support for churches and families devastated by the tornadoes in Joplin, Missouri and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This two-week tour starts in Joplin and ends at Catalyst in Atlanta. This is a tremendous opportunity to help those who still have many physical needs to be met - a moment to be the hands and feet of Christ as a very present help in times of trouble.

The two-week tour will start in Joplin, Missouri, travel through Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and culminate with the riders finishing live on the Catalyst stage in Atlanta. The funds raised from the tour will be presented at Catalyst Atlanta to Joplin and Tuscaloosa churches to Be Present in their communities.

During the tour participants will spend a day helping tornado victims and will stop in communities en route, challenging people to give sacrificially as they sacrifice physically.

Goals and Objectives of the Tour

  • Raise $100,000 for churches to reach out to people affected by tornados in Joplin and Tuscaloosa
  • Continue to tell the story of people affected by the tornados in these areas
  • Provide physical, moral and spiritual support for areas recovering from some of the deadliest tornadoes in US history
