Goals

We desire to capitalize on the momentum and interest generated from the R:WT in 2008 & 2009 to raise funds and awareness for B:WM by offering a coastal bicycle tour that will:

  • raise $25,000+ for clean water and clean blood initiatives in Africa,
  • initiate new community relationships and support from other parts of the United States,
  • partner with our African friends to educate individuals and communities in North America about the difficult social and economic issues Africans face on a daily basis,
  • provide opportunities for B:WM advocates/supporters to participate in a B:WM campaign,
  • increase B:WM sphere of influence, donor base and social network.
