My buddies and I started Venture Expeditions in 2002 with a bike trip across the United States. We are still at it. Currently, I'm working full time for Venture. I have a beautiful wife and 5 month old daughter.

Why I'm involved in Venture Expeditions:
I like the idea that we can help people using our passion for adventure travel. I believe this is what I'm supposed to do with my life. It is cool to see peoples lives changed. Not just the people we are benefiting with monetary support and service, but also our hikers, riders, runners, etc...

Biking to Work in 29 degrees

Hey all, since no one has been using the blog feature, I'm going to use it to brag a bit. I biked to work in 29 degree weather this morning. I'm not much for the cold, so that is a big deal for me. Alright.

So we have decided to use Ning for our social networking site. It is only a matter of rollin' it out now! I'm excited about this. Ning is a good solution for our community.

I actually went on a tour that visited the 7 churches from the Book of Revelation! It brought the entire New Testament to life! and actually, most of the New Testament was written in Turkey! Pamukkale was my favorite

Yeah, thanks Smith. Because of this snow, I have the day off and I'm spending time with this support letter. Also, Erik Wrede from the MN DNR called me and we talked about conditions on the upper stretch of the river. He says he'd really like pictures and stories of the trip for the new DNR website being launched late summer.

Well, I work 8-5 Monday through Friday so I doubt that will work too well.. but you sent a message about getting together with people who have been on a trip to go campin or hang out or something. Just letting you know I was interested if you did it!
