There's something to be said for Christian radio. I'll admit, I'm never aching to listen to it when I jump in the car. But somewhere on the way from Minneapolis to Joplin to Atlanta and back I really began to appreciate the consistency that Christian stations brought to my interstate commute. Hills

Sometimes (just sometimes) when I plan my route I try to skirt around as many hills as possible. And sometimes things don't go quite the way I envisioned.



There's one particular hill a little south of me that always gives me problems. It's not even that bad, really. Bright Ideas and (Failed) Sugar Fasts

It's been awhile since I wrote a blog. And it's been awhile since I rode a century. But if you're invited on a gorgeous ride down the "coast" (the majority of the ride is a little inland) with good friends, who cares if it's a little longer than you're used to, right? Things are going pretty well with me. I'm a little behind in training because I had to take some time off for a surgery in February. I'm doing well now though. Alaska this time of year isn't very pretty. It's white a beautiful in the winter, and green and amazing in the summer, but right now the snow is very brown dirty. I can't ride outside yet, but soon. How are you doing?

I'm defintiely pumped about it as well, meeting and riding with the whole team will be awesome! Haha, actually, I got the God-sized adjective from the "Experiencing God" study by Henry Blackaby that I have recently been going through with a friend. I highly recommend it Deb!!

Things on my end are going quite well thank you. I've really been enjoying the fantasic weather for cycling to work the past 3 weeks. And we have a great job on the plate at work now that involves a few weeks of travel for installing a bulk flour system in a bakery! Also recently working on my support letter for the Ride. I'm looking forward to meeting with people and support raising! I think it'll be fun.
