While on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic two years ago I met a precious young girl.Her name was Maria. Her mom had died several years earlier. She was living with her aunt,uncle,dad, and brother.She was twelve and loved to dance.She was adventureous, precocious, and very outgoing. I love spring in Kentucky. The world wakes up in the most spectacular way. It starts out slow. First the daffodils peek out. They grow wild here and come in various shades of yellow and white. If the temps stay cool they will last for several weeks. Next the slightest hues of pale green start to emerge. One day its so slight, like the color yellow green then the greens get deeper and start to fill in the once empty spaces.The other exquisite colors of spring in Kentucky are purple and whites.… Continue

It's been a long cold overcast winter. My mind has been very busy all week. Everyday the weather man said it was going to be sunny in the sixties. Well today was Thursday and I finally saw the sun, and it was sixty two degrees. Its amazing how good the sun can make you feel. I rode my bike outdoors today with Iron Mike.
