Life is like a Venture Expeditions trip. One day you are riding up a mountain trying to catch your breath. The next day you are going 45mph downhill experiencing a freedom like no other. Both experiences are necessary, but one is rarely enjoyed. Lord you are the constant in both, through pain and in joy you are who we turn to.

It’s been a while since I last wrote, maybe just a little too long. We have biked through so many cities that it’s hard to remember where we biked from this morning, to say I have a “fried brain” is just an understatement. Some of the initial excitement (a lot of it) has worn off and I’m just tired. Yes, I know you are thinking “of course you are tired you are riding across the country by bike”. It’s funny how the smallest things can cause a person to break. Today we rode 90 miles from Harlowton to Billings Montana. The day started out great, the first 30 miles were smooth with tailwinds behind us and the sun shining bright.
