Profile Information

About Me:
I helped lead the Just+Hope North Tour from Seattle to New York over the summer of 2010. I did the Ride:Well Tour in 2009. Check out the R:W blogs here: http://www.ridewelltour.org/profile/TylerHSevlie

Now I volunteer at Venture and try to help anyone who needs it. I'm a bike mechanic and general cycling geek. Lemme know if I can help you out!

I wrote a (long) blog about buying bikes for a Venture tour. It's on the Official Venture Blog and it's called How To Buy A Bike For Your Venture Tour. Check it out, because I'll probably reference it.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Melissa, Torgeir, and Helen Hauglund for putting us up on Tuesday night. We called Melissa when we were an hour outside of Seattle to see if she knew a place we could camp free, and she put us in… Continue

3 1/2 weeks ago I crashed the heck out of my bike. I bent the forks back a good 2+ inches and bent the frame at the head tube. It was gnarly. The story's worth telling.

Anticipation (or, Oh Glory)

Dear Friends,

Support letters have been and are being sent. The parts from my first, broken bike have been transferred to a different frame and are beginning to work together. Arm warmers and an extra pair of short have been ordered, with sunglasses on the docket for Sunday.

On Wednesday I'm leaving Red Wing and my parent's house and going to Minneapolis and the Venture office. Next Monday I'll be in a van driving to Seattle and an adventure the likes of which I cannot… Continue

Proper Usage of Bar End-Free Handlebars.

This is a very important video blog I made on the Ride:Well Tour last year. Check it out.

Peace,
