Anticipation (or, Oh Glory)

Dear Friends,

Support letters have been and are being sent. The parts from my first, broken bike have been transferred to a different frame and are beginning to work together. Arm warmers and an extra pair of short have been ordered, with sunglasses on the docket for Sunday.

On Wednesday I'm leaving Red Wing and my parent's house and going to Minneapolis and the Venture office. Next Monday I'll be in a van driving to Seattle and an adventure the likes of which I cannot imagine.

There's glory in anticipation. There's a sense of impossibility tangled up with hope. Anything is possible.

I'm awed to be so blessed.

Here's a prayer I'm adopting:
