Change

It is amazing how life always changes, things that seem so easy before are now harder, at which was hard is now easy. between college and trying to maintain this wonderful "social life" i have found that the only one i need to truly care about and impress is God. Not saying that others are not important, but i do find that we as Christians only associate with other Christians. This would make sense if the whole world believed that Christ died on the cross of our sins, but since it is not the reality we live in and we do not live in heaven (YET). I should believe that our call for ministering and expanding God kingdom would not dwell in our own comfort zones, to change to the times and check out our environment. Let us evolve as a body of Christ and share our love and knowledge of his works. This being said nothing can change over night and it is precisely this reason that we struggle. My decision to take this next semester off was one of the hardest things to do, not being able to afford this help in the push back home, but the simple fact that i was distracted by my changing surroundings helped out a lot. my freshman year and i 'm leaving cause i don't know what God wants from me. maybe i didn't listen when he spoke or maybe this is all in his plans for me, either way the experience was life changing. I can define myself in one word and feel confident that this is what God made me to be. I have evolved from a human, American, Broke college student christian artist into a child of God, this alone is my title my most important trait. I'm still growing and I'm still just as lost as others, but my only constant is God. I know that i can not stay the same forever and that the world is going to continue whether i like it or not, i can't hold the world in my hand but I can let God and let go. Sometimes this is the only fact that helps me through the change. I know that it is his will even though it makes no sense right now. I guess I'm just lost in the moment.
