"Find What Wrecks You, and Feed It"
This was said in a small reflection given by Ryan Skoog, the president of Venture Expeditions at the World Vision Chapel. It hints at the idea that the way we grow is by being stretched, and sometimes wrecked. In the aftermath we have a choice to either grow, or wither. It’s my prayer that through this trip that I will wrecked for the sake of His name. May I always surrender, and never fight the process of refining that he desires for me on this trip. In saying yes to God by going on this trip, I am also in some way saying yes to the wrecking process. Scary. Yes. Am I ready? Probably not. Is it necessary? Yes, it always is. If we’re not growing, we’re dying. & sometimes it takes an adventure or something way bigger than us to fall in line with the refining that NEEDS to happen in our lives. God have your way, even when I’m scared, weak, resistant, prideful, and tired to the point of exhaustion. God play is always the best for me, 100% of the time. Be magnified today, tomorrow, and always in and through me Lord Jesus. I am Yours.
