Well the adventure got off to quite a start. We loaded up Esca’s mini-van, including strapping 3 bags on the top of the minivan, and packed the other 4 bags, 4 adults, 2 kids, and 1 stroller inside. On the way to the airport we had a detour, which meant that Nana and the kids missed their flight.

2 hours later, they got on a flight – thanks Nana, and 2 more hours later we were on our way to London.

8 hours later we were in London, and 9 hours after that we landed in Nairobi.

JAMBO

Nairobi seems beautiful - at least what we can see at night., and the people are really friendly.

Tomorrow we take off for our safari.

We are really enjoying our time together, and plan on soaking that up for the next 2 days. But we can’t wait for the team to get here on Thursday.

We will have email on and off, so send up some updates, and we will do the same.

We are exhausted, so sorry for the lack of creativity. I’m done.
