After we had arrived at our stopping place, a high school in McLaughlin, SD (a city on a Native American reservation), Rachel was approached by a lady while she was out by our van. The lady had recognized one of our sponsors listed on our van, North Central University, and was curious about who we were and what we were doing. Her name was Josephine and she was so sweet and kind. She was a part of the Assemblies of God church. She wanted to help us in any way possible. She would have cooked us dinner, but we already had dinner started. So she offered to give us groceries and cook us breakfast, which turned out to be quite yummy. She took Rachel and I to her house to meet her family, a husband and 9 kids. Her sons and daughters were the cutest kids. After having breakfast with them the team didn't want to leave to go bike, because we wanted to spend more time with the family. However, we did leave, and we biked 104 miles in 90's temperature. We found ourselves in Ipswitch, SD spending time with more wonderful people, with great big hearts like Josephine.

-Thank you to all our great hosts. I'm always so blown away by your love and hospitality.
