Meeting with Venture at URBANA

Upon arriving URBANA, I had some what of a shock, I was overwhelmed for there was thousands of college students, hundred and hundreds of different mission organizations and hundreds of seminars to choose. However, it was here were God continued to open my eyes, transform my heart, break my heart for the lost and broken and continued to convict me of missions.

I remember searching for Ventures booth and just could not find it, until one day I was talking to my friend, Tim about Venture Expeditions and how it was the one booth I truly wanted to visit. He told me he knew exactly what I was talking about because he went there and couldn't believe how awesome of an organization Venture was and how he was thinking about apply! I couldn't believe it, I got so excited, and few hours later, he brought me there and I was finally able to talk with Venture. While speaking with them, I felt my heart pounding fast, I knew God was telling me to apply.

After returning home, I decided to apply, and less than an hour later I received an email that they received my application and that they would like to have a phone interview the following Monday.
