A few days ago it was beautiful out so I went for a ride and found a bench at the top of a hill overlooking an expanse of trees and the Grand River. I took my shoes off and sat cross legged while I read. For no obvious reason, I decided to read Psalm 12. I got to verse 5, which says, "'Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,' says the Lord. 'I will protect them from those who malign them."
I thought, THAT'S why I'm riding right now! THAT'S why I'm riding this summer! Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy.

that is completely awesome and perfectly fitting. Its amazing how God speaks to us through His word if we stay quiet enough to hear.

Amen girl! Thanks for sharing that. I've never dwelt on that psalm before, and man it is SO good. I love how God speaks to us like that!
