to live different
well i waited a few days to try to summarize the trip. i have been stateside now for 4 days. i still am not sure where to begin, what to emphasize, and how to do justice everything we experienced.
the best thing i can say, is please read the posts from the rest of the members of the team. they are brilliant.
i can say, i miss africa, i miss kds, i miss the venture team.
i can say, i would do it again tomorrow.
i can say, that i believe most, if not all, should attempt an adventure like this.
and i can say, it will change you. you will be different. you will have a new perspective, partnered with a new responsibility. you will love more deeply, appreciate more fully, and live differently.
i feel like that is the most important thing i can do - live different.
the lives of my friends in africa demand it, and the words of Christ call me to it.
