We've only just begun...

It's crazy to think that after a few more hours working at the Ban Pong Center, our team will hop on a plane and start our 30+ hour journey home. The last 8 days has been an overwhelming experience for all of us on the team. I was a little worried that our team wouldn't be able to bond, really experience Thailand, or have an intimate experience with Christ in such a short amount of time, but boy was I wrong!

We've only just begun... This trip has brought our team together in a way I never would have imagined. Although I knew everyone on the team prior to going, I can still say that I will come away from this trip with a deep friendship with everyone on the tour. We have all bonded in unique and amazing ways, and the best part about it is that We've only just begun! I know that these friendships will not only continue on as we leave, but that they will also grow deeper throughout the up coming years.

We've only just begun... Thailand is an amazing country. Everyone on our team is bummed out right now that we have to leave and head back to our normal lives. This place changes you. When you see the beauty of the mountains around you, it is hard not to be captivated by the majesty of this amazing country. And on top of that, our friends P. Doi & P. Phat have been so great at teaching us about all the different aspects of the heart of Thai people. As we prepare to head home in a few hours, I know that we will only fall more in love with Thailand as we remember our friends and experiences here. I know that my love for Thailand has only just begun!

We've only just begun... As always our walk with Christ is a journey filled with many twists and turns. As I look back at my life, I can remember specific moments in that journey with Christ that have inspired me and changed me to the very depths of who I am. I have a feeling that this trip will be one of those pivotal moments in my journey with Christ. Not only have I been able to reconnect with Christ through this trip, but I've also begun to think and grow in my faith in new ways. I know that this trip is only just the beginning of a new twist in my life and walk with Christ, and I have to say that I am so stoked to see where it takes me.

Well, it's time for our last meal in Thailand. Thai style! Until next time...
