What up Bangkok!

So.... we've been in transit now for something like 22+ hours. It's 4am at the Bangkok International Airport and my makeshift chair bed just isn't as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. So I says to myself... "why not post a blog!" And here I am!

Our team is having a blast so far. We've kept ourselves busy by playing hangman, eating airplane food, and lots of laughter (which most likely annoyed our fellow passengers). I know these next 9 days will fly by, but the plan is to pack them full of as much fun as possible.

I can't even begin to describe how excited I am to be in Thailand right now. After spending a summer cycling the country & 2 summers in Africa, the past few years has seemed a little dull. Being away from home out seeing the world is something I love to do, so the very moment I hopped on the plane, I started glowing with anticipation.

I'm not sure what to expect on this trip. I've been so consumed with work and committments, that it'll be a nice change of pace to be somewhere completely foreign and new. I'm hoping this trip sparks some fresh life in me. If anything, I'm confident the spicey food will!
